What started as a teenager baking for family has grown into a full-time passion — creating handcrafted cakes for weddings, birthdays, and everything in between, while sharing my recipes with a growing community of home bakers who love to bake as much as I do.

Aged 14, Mariam baked her first proper cake — a chocolate birthday creation for her mum. Lopsided, but loved.
Pastry School
Mariam studied professional pastry, mastering French techniques, sugar work, and the science behind the perfect sponge.
First Wedding Cake
A 3-tier floral design for a close friend's wedding. The photographs went viral on Pinterest. Orders followed.
MariamCakes Launches
After years of weekend baking and word-of-mouth referrals, Mariam went full-time and launched MariamCakes.
Growing Sweet
Today MariamCakes has created over 500 celebration cakes and published 50+ recipes for home bakers worldwide.
